I downloaded Hotspot Shield VPN from the Windows Store:
For Windows 11
- Select Start>Microsoft Store.
- After you've opened the Microsoft Store app, select Library > Get updates.
- If there are updates, select Update all or choose which apps you want to update.
For Windows 10
- On the taskbar, select Microsoft Store to open it.
- If you don't see Microsoft Store on the taskbar, it might have been unpinned. Here's how to find it: In the search box on the taskbar, enter Microsoft Store, then select it from the list.
- After you've opened Microsoft Store, select More>Downloads and updates>Get updates.

If you download the app from www.hotspotshield.com, the software will automatically upgrade to the latest version when it becomes available, usually within the first week or two from the release. There is not a way to manually download the update.
NOTE: Only Windows 10 and 11 are supported.
