Cancel Subscription on iOS

Issue: I want to cancel my subscription that I purchased on my iOS device or through iTunes, but I can't find any information on cancelling under my account details. How can I cancel in the App Store on my iPhone?

How To Cancel Hotspot Shield in iTunes

First: Please note that Apple's policy requests that you cancel your subscription through them directly. Our Help Center cannot cancel iTunes subscriptions. 

Before cancelling your subscription, please ensure that you are signed into the same Apple ID with which you originally purchased your Premium subscription.

iOS 12, 13, 14 and up

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap on Subscriptions.

  4. Tap Hotspot Shield.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.


How to cancel through the app store on my Mac device:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Click the sign-in button or your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  3. Click View Information at the top of the window. You might be asked to sign in.
  4. On the page that appears, scroll until you see Manage, then Subscriptions. 
  5. Click Edit next to the subscription. 
  6. Click Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and it won't renew. 
     

NOTEIf Hotspot Shield is not listed under your subscriptions, it means that auto-renewal has already been cancelled. If you run into any issue or problem while performing this cancellation, contact iTunes Support Express
