How do I fix the problem where I can't link device to account?

If you have problems to view the links in this article from blocked countries, please connect Hotspot Shield to US virtual location.

First, please make sure:

  • You are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or LAN
  • You are signed in to your Premium account (If you are a free user, you can only link one device to your account)

If your device is connected to the internet and you still can't sign in to link the device, probably you have reached the 5 device limit. To remove or unlink a device from your account you can sign out from that device or follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Premium Account
  2. Go to Hotspot Shield
    Pango_tabs.png
  3. Click Unlink
    HSS_Devices.png
    If successful, the link will display "Unlinked".
