How do I download and install Hotspot Shield on Mac?

Installing Hotspot Shield

The Mac App version of Hotspot Shield is available in the App Store.

To install the Mac App:

  1. On your Mac, open the App Store  and search for "Hotspot Shield" or go to App Store here.

  2. Find the Hotspot Shield app and click GET, then click INSTALL APP.

Important note: When you open Hotspot Shield for the first time, you'll be asked to install a profile. Just allow this to continue.

Once installed, you can find the Hotspot Shield mac app on your Launchpad  — look for the Hotspot Shield icon.
