To change the virtual location on Linux you will have to first disconnect the VPN by using the command hotspotshield disconnect. You will then need to reconnect with the desired Virtual location. For example:
If I wanted to connect to change Virtual locations from the UK to the US I would type this in my terminal.
- hotspotshield disconnect
- hotspotshield start
- hotspotshield connect US
Please note that when you reconnect after starting the application back up you will need to list the city or countries' abbreviation to connect. Otherwise, if you just type in "hotspotshield connect" with no code you will connect to the most recent virtual location.
