It depends on the Hotspot Shield subscription you have.
Hotspot Shield Basic (free)
Free users can only link one (1) device to their account. To upgrade your maximum allowable devices on your account, purchase a Premium subscription.
Hotspot Shield Premium
Premium users can add up to ten (10) devices to their Premium account simultaneously.
From the Hotspot Shield app on your device, sign in to your Premium account to enjoy all your Premium benefits. Learn how to add devices to your Premium account.
Hotspot Shield is compatible with the devices listed below:
iOS devices running iOS 14 or later, including:
- iPad & iPad Mini
- iPod Touch
Android devices running Android OS 5.0 or later, including:
- All Android tablets and phones with VPN support
Android TV running Android OS 5.0 or later, including:
- All Android TVs
Mac desktops running Mac OS X 10.12 or later, including:
- MacBook Air, MacBook & MacBook Pro
- iMac & Mac Pro
- Mac mini
Windows desktops running Windows 7 or later, including:
- All Windows desktops and laptops
Routers running one of the following:
- FreshTomato, GL.iNet, Asuswrt, DD-WRT
- All Linux devices, boxes, etc.
Current unsupported devices
We’re working on it, but currently, Hotspot Shield does not support these devices:
- Gaming consoles (Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, etc.)
- Kindle tablets
- SmartTVs that are not Android TV(Apple TV, Samsung, etc.)
- Windows phones
