Which Virtual Location should I choose?

Streaming services often impose local broadcasting blackouts for sports games. For example, if you’re trying to stream your local team (i.e. San Francisco Giants baseball) from within your locale (San Francisco Bay Area), you will likely be blocked. To solve this issue, you must choose a virtual location that is outside your city or area.

In many cases, you also must have a paid subscription to access streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, ESPN, etc, as well as a subscription to Hotspot Shield Premium.

We suggest that you choose a virtual location that’s as near to you as possible (unless you’re trying to access content that’s native to a different country [i.e. trying to access U.S. Netflix from Japan etc]).
