There are two ways to do this. Perhaps the easiest way is to delete Hotspot Shield and reinstall it. If that does not work:
- Reboot your device
- Restart Hotspot Shield app, and reconnect
- When the VPN connection dialog box appears, select the "I trust this application" checkbox > tap OK
- Disable any screen dimming or battery saver apps first and then try again. We have confirmed that Twilight, Lux and Screen Filter are among the apps that cause this issue.
- On Hotspot Shield's home screen > Tap the same button used to connect and the app will disconnect
