You may get this error in these situations:
- When your device is not connected to the internet
- When the communication with the server fails
- When there is country block
Before troubleshooting, please make sure:
- You are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data network
- A 3rd party app is not interfering with Internet Settings 'For example, a sensitive Firewall or another VPN application.'
- Turn Hotspot Shield Protection ON
- Switch Airplane Mode ON and OFF
- Turn Hotspot Shield Off, wait few seconds then turn it back ON
- Reinstall Hotspot Shield Profile
- Connect to a different network (for example, if you were connected to Wi-Fi, try connecting to your mobile data network or another Wi-Fi)
- Open Hotspot Shield > Turn Protection ON
If the steps above don't work and you are located in any of the following countries: Pakistan, Iran, Oman, Qatar, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia
- Click "Contact Support"
- Provide a description of the issue and a screenshot (If possible)
