Hotspot Shield for Windows Phone 8.1 is completely FREE. If you're a Hotspot Shield Premium user, you do not need to sign in to your Premium account. All features in the Windows Phone version of Hotspot Shield are enabled.

The latest system update of Windows Mobile introduced an issue which doesn't allow to set up a VPN connection. Hotspot Shield no longer supports Windows mobile devices.  
Microsoft account required. To use Hotspot Shield, you must sign in to you Microsoft account.

When you open Hotspot Shield for the first time, you will be asked to sign in with your Microsoft account and grant Hotspot Shield permission.

Your 1st time signing in to Hotspot Shield:

  1. Open the Hotspot Shield app.
  2. Tap Microsoft connect.
  3. Enter you Microsoft account username and password. Then tap Sign in.
  4. On the next screen, tap Yes to grant Hotspot Shield permissions.

Any other time you open Hotspot Shield, just tap Microsoft connect and you'll be signed in automatically.
