“This License Key is already in use” error

If you tried to redeem your Elite code, but got “This License Key is already in use,” then your Elite code has already been linked to an account.

If that's the case, please check if the Elite code is listed in your account history. Just sign in to your Elite account here and once you are signed in, in the Account section, click on View history. From there, you will find all the subscriptions purchased and License Keys redeemed in your account.

Signed in but no Elite features? In the Hotspot Shield app, try signing out and signing back in to your Elite account.

Do you have a second account? In some cases, an Elite code is linked to another account from the same customer. If you have another email that you used to create a different account or purchased your subscription, try signing in to your Dashboard with that email.

If you cannot redeem your Elite cdoe and after checking it isn’t in your account history, please contact our support team by filling out this form.
