My 7-Day FREE Elite Trial has expired - what are my options?


A 7-day FREE trial of Hotspot Shield Elite is available to new users. Once this FREE trial expires, Hotspot Shield will display a Warning Screen:

You can proceed with one of the options below:

Option 1: Purchase the Elite Subscription, which will allow you to add up to 5 devices across PC, Mac, iOS and Android platforms to a single account.

Option 2: Switch to a Manual Profile (disable protection).

To do this, tap the "Switch to Manual Profile (disable protection)" link and follow profile installation prompts.

Option 3: Turn protection OFF and uninstall.

If you choose to turn the protection OFF, you will need to delete the application AND uninstall the Profile.

To remove Hotspot Shield completely from your device:

1) Unlink the device: Go to Hotspot Shield Settings > My Account > Linked Account > Unlink Device
2) Uninstall Profile: Go to your device settings, then General > Profiles > Hotspot Shield Elite > Remove
3) Remove the app from your device by deleting the Hotspot Shield icon.


The Warning Screen will continue to pop up until the Hotspot Shield Profile is uninstalled or an Elite Subscription is purchased.

Please let us know if you have any difficulty switching to a Manual Profile or removing Hotspot Shield from your mobile device.
