What do I need to do to get a refund from iTunes?

Issue: I would like a refund for my Hotspot Shield Premium subscription which was purchased through the iTunes App Store on my Mac device.  How can I be reimbursed?

Refunding subscriptions bought on iOS

Please note that because you subscribed to your Premium account through iTunes, Apple's policy requires that you cancel and request a refund through them only.

Please make sure you have canceled auto-renewal on your Premium subscription in iTunes before requesting a refund.

  1. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
  2. Sign in using the same Apple ID you used to purchase your Premium subscription
  3. Select the appropriate options on your screen
  4. Tap Submit.
